COMPUPHONIC bio:
It all started in his rehearsal room, as he was practicing violin and discovering Daft Punk's debut album at the same time. Back in 2002, Maxime Firket aka Compuphonic, was finally determined not to just focus on the several rock bands that he had joined, but decided to learn the basis of electro music production. Compuphonic quickly found his way to success and it didn't take much time to get his first productions signed on Dirty Dancing Records.
The 25-years-old “groove maker” then went up a gear. He got in touch with Turbo Recording and Tiga himself and he decided to release Compuphonic's "Emotion" EP.
He then confirmed his ability to produce powerful dancefloor hits when his tracks were being played by some of the world's best: UNDERWORLD, Jennifer Cardini and François Kevorkian. His subtile remix of "Shaded" by Cari Lekebush on Turbo (feat. Kolombo) and his passionate remix of "Anywhere" by The Presets on Modular (feat. Kolombo) won unanimous support by the dance community.
Music is also about meeting people and exchanging techniques. His artistic choices led him to successful collaborations with credible artists like Fabrice Lig, Spirit Catcher and Kolombo.
His 2009 releases on Systematic, Parquet Rec., 20:20 Vision and Freerange surely prove that Compuphonic is no newbie. Young but accompished! Only 26 and already the boss of his own label: Union Match Music! The first release gathers together Fabrice Lig, Spirit Catcher, Kolombo, Ante Perry and Compuphonic himself, and is already caned by illustrious DJ’s such as Laurent Garnier, Ken Ishii, Charles Webster, Chymera, Darko Esser, to name a few...
